Aloha, I'm Glenn!

I'm currently a backend engineer at a media streaming company where I work with Go, SQL, GCP, and AWS. My work has included leading development on the company's video transcoding pipeline, streaming infrastructure for live sports like NFL and English Premier League, audio service for music curators to encode, tag, and deliver their music playlists via SFTP, ETL data from multiple sources into BigQuery, and an internal CLI app that helps the engineering team with workflows for Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, GCP, etc.

I currently spend all of my time building with Go, but I also have extensive experience with Python, Swift, JavaScript, and PHP. Coding is one of my favorite hobbies, alongside sports, photography, and music. In my free time, I'm studying Machine Learning and also hack on webcrawlers and CLI apps.

Prior to making apps, I was making music. I co-founded Truth Studios in LA's Fairfax District where it's still operating today. I was the studio's lead mixing engineer and moonlit as a touring front of house engineer for artists at live music venues around the U.S. such as Webster Hall (NYC), House of Blues (LA), Metro (Chicago), Warfield (SF), and Neumos (Seattle).

My mixing credits include Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, and Chance the Rapper.
